The F20C FD hybrid is complete!

Chase’s 1994 Mazda RX-7 recently underwent a controversial transplant by way of a Honda powerplant. This isn’t your normal engine however, it’s comprised of a K24 bottom end and K24 crankshaft for low-end grunt mated to a F20 head from a Honda S2000 for top-end flow. To top off this conversion is a Turbo By Garrett GTX3076 and a healthy dose of positive pressure controlled via AEM Infinity-6.

After a custom dyno tune by Vlad via AEM Performance Electronics Infinity-6, the RX-7 ended up putting down a stout 505.29whp and 432.32lbtq at 23lbs of boost pressure.

Jeremy took the maiden parking lot drive this evening, with Vlad calibrating via AEM Infinity, testing out a little 2-step launch control.
