Meet the Team

Kevin Spencer: Performance Consultant

Understanding the science behind high-performance is important, but being able to apply that understanding is crucial, and that’s where Kevin – our Performance Consultant – comes in. Kevin joined the National Speed team with a broad range of high-performance experience, skills, and knowledge, all paired up with a Bachelors in Automotive Engineering Technology from Ferris State University. Kevin attended the same program side-by-side with our Senior Performance Calibrator – Vlad. With his diverse background, Kevin has the knowledge to ensure our customers receive the best performance recommendations, based on their performance goals (even if they don’t know what those goals are yet). Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, Kevin is the man to help bring your performance goals together into a plan! Kevin’s weapon of choice for street use is his 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra, that he’s built into a 347 cubic inch naturally aspirated sleeper.

Jeremy Hamill: Performance Technician

After serving our country in the United States Marine Corps, Jeremy came onboard with National Speed to pursue his passion for high-performance. Jeremy joins the team with an extremely diverse skill set, derived from a vast experience with both domestic and import models, and an array of specialties including custom fabrication. This diverse knowledge and experience is also present in his choice of personal vehicles, his daily driven modified 2012 Ford F-150 EcoBoost, and his fun car, his heavily modified 2004 Subaru WRX.

John Faldzinski: Senior Performance Technician

John is the “old school” guy in the bunch: he is all about the drag roots from the 1960’s and the early days of big block power. He loves the rewarding feeling of finishing every build and getting each customer closer to their performance dreams. Known for his incredible attention-to-detail, work quality and fabrication abilities, John loves to put his creativity and expertise in to every build to make each project unique for the customer. As Senior Performance Technician, John is a continued mentor and trainer for our Performance Technicians, teaching them the advanced methods and skills to ensure our customers receive the best quality possible. In his spare time, John likes to take his family to the dirt track for ATV and two wheel racing, as well as restoring his Ford Fairlane.

Randall White: Performance Technician

No matter what’s going on, Randall is the guy wearing a smile, and keeping the whole team laughing. Randall joined the National Speed team with years of work experience with various makes and models, giving him the knowhow to confidently handle whatever project is on his lift. Known for his excellent problem solving skills, Randall always finds the solution no matter the challenge. From installing a cylinder heads and camshaft package on a Cadillac CTS-V, to diagnosing a wiring issue on an all-out race prepared 350Z, Randall’s got the knowledge and experience to confidently deliver. A testament to reliable performance, Randall daily drives his modified Volkswagen GTI during the week, while having extra fun with it on the weekends.

Tim Pfeiffer: Efficiency Manager

Before joining the team at National Speed in 2012, Tim served our country in the United States Marine Corps, and with that chapter closing, Tim started a new chapter in following his passion for high-performance.

A diehard enthusiast, Tim is certainly no stranger to high performance with 3 high-performance cars in his fleet (a Momentum Performance turbocharged/StopTech/NISMO equipped 2003 Nissan 350Z, a modified 2014 Ford Focus ST, and a 1974 Datsun 240Z). Tim applies the structure he learned as a Marine to our essential efficiency processes at National Speed, and contributes heavily to the shop running like a well-tuned engine.

Vlad Yevtushenko: Senior Performance Calibrator

No matter the quality of hardware that goes into a high-performance build, it’s nothing without a proper calibration, and that’s where Vlad comes into play at National Speed. Vlad joined the National Speed team armed with work experience with Texas big-power speed shops, certifications from EFI University, a Bachelors in Automotive Engineering Technology from Ferris State University, and a ton of industry experience building and tuning high horsepower street performers. With the specialized know-how, systems, and tools, Vlad ensures that our customer’s vehicles achieve the best performance and efficiency possible. Whether it’s a nasty all motor Chevrolet Camaro SS on HP Tuners, or a big single-turbo Toyota Supra on AEM Infinity, or a bolt-on Subaru WRX STi on COBB Tuning’s AccessPORT, Vlad’s got it under control. Channeling his expertise in making reliable horsepower (and a lot of it), Vlad built his ultimate daily driver, a 1,200 horsepower 1995 Toyota Supra.

Zak Skipper: Operations Assistant

After graduating from West Carolina University, Zak came onboard with National Speed as Operations Assistant, and is here to keep everything working as efficiently as possible. Zak joins the team with a lifetime of car obsession, and that, paired with a very helpful and driven personality made him the perfect fit for the team. Options are important, and Zak keeps it interesting with both of his daily drivers – a modified 2002 Subaru WRX as well as a modified 2004 Toyota Tacoma. Needless to say, he’s got a bit of an affinity for AWD and 4WD vehicles, and uses them appropriately.
