    With the mechanical work wrapped in the shop by Timmy, John strapped her down to the rollers for Vlad to perform a custom calibration via HP Tuners.     2018 Dodge Challenger R/T – Whipple 3.0L

    Another Whipple 3.0L equipped Hemi wrapped up and ripping! Back in May, Jim brought us his 2018 Dodge Challenger R/T for our Stage-3 NA package, and while the extra 80whp scratched the itch for a few months, it wasn’t long before he was ready for more!

    Shortly after, he got in on the pre-order for the new Whipple 3.0L. Fast forward a few months, and he ended up being our first 5.7L Hemi in the door for this killer supercharger system! Full setup below:

    First round of work – Stage-3 NA package:

    Second round of work – Stage-2 Whipple Supercharged package:

    Whipple Superchargers Gen-V 3.0L W185RF twin-screw supercharger system
    Whipple Superchargers 4.00″ upper supercharger pulley
    NGK Spark Plugs LFR6AIX-11 spark plugs
    MSD Performance fuel pump voltage booster
    • All the miscellaneous OEM and aftermarket components to bring it all together

    With the mechanical work wrapped up in the shop by Dylan, Matt strapped her down to the rollers for Vlad to perform a custom calibration via HP Tuners. With 93 octane in the tank and the 3.0L delivering only ~5.5psi, Vlad increased the 5.7L Hemi’s output to 508.96whp & 476.66lbft!

    We’d love to see what this 5.7L would lay down with some drop-in pistons and more boost! We could easily see somewhere between 650-700whp on 93 octane without issue.     Another Whipple Gen-V 3.0L powered 6.4L Hemi wrapped up and on the prowl! Michael brought us his 2016 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack for our Stage-2 Whipple 3.0L package, with the addition of our custom fabricated electronic exhaust cutouts!

    With the mechanical work wrapped up in the shop by Chris, John strapped her down to the rollers for a custom calibration by Vlad via HP Tuners. With 93 octane in the tank, and the Whipple 3.0L delivering ~7.5psi of boost, output increased to 677.49whp & 620.99lbft through the manual transmission!     With the mechanical work wrapped up in the shop by John, Matt strapped her down to the rollers for a custom calibration by Vlad via HP Tuners. With 93 octane in the tank, Vlad increased output to 629.74whp & 643.76lbft! This setup has a LOT more jam in the jar, but to preserve the health of the stock bottom end, we stopped here.     With the mechanical work wrapped in the shop by John, Matt strapped her down to the rollers for Vlad to perform a custom calibration via HP Tuners. With 93 octane in the tank, and the IHI 2.4L supercharger delivering ~15psi, Vlad increased output to 791.32whp & 711.25lbft!
     
    Considering these cars normally baseline around 650whp on our dynos during the summer, that’s a solid 140whp increase, even with ~95° ambient air temperature!

With 93 octane in the tank, Vlad increased the 5.7L’s output to 399.33whp & 392.93lbft! A nice jump in power with an added growl that Sterling is sure to enjoy!
