    2019 Ford F150 SSV – Whipple Supercharged

     
    This one is definitely on our list of ultimate daily drivers! Ryan brought us his 2019 Ford F-150 SSV to get the Gen-III Coyote 5.0L Whipple 3.0L equipped! Modifications below:

    Pre-existing:
    • Gibson Performance Exhaust stainless steel dual exhaust
    First round of modifications performed by us:
    • American Racing Headers 1.825″ ID long-tube headers

    Second round of modifications performed by us:
    • Whipple Superchargers Stage-II 3.0L W185RF twin-screw system
    • Whipple Superchargers billet 132mm throttle body
    • Whipple Superchargers Crusher air-intake system
    • Whipple Superchargers 55 lb-hr fuel injectors
    • Boundary Lubrication Systems billet oil pump gears
    • Boundary Lubrication Systems billet crankshaft sprocket
    • All the miscellaneous OEM and aftermarket components to bring it all together

    With the mechanical work wrapped up in the shop by Jeremy, John strapped her down to the rollers for Vlad to perform a custom calibration via HP Tuners. With 93 octane in the tank and the Whipple 3.0L delivering ~10psi, Vlad increased the Coyote’s output to a solid 674.72whp & 582.55lbft!     2017 Ford F-150 Raptor-Bolt-ons and Calibration

    Travis brought us his 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor to have the Gen-II 3.5L EcoBoost taken up a notch! Setup below:

    • COBB Tuning front-mount intercooler
    • COBB Tuning turbocharger blankets
    • Turbosmart blow-off valve
    • aFe POWER turbocharger inlet pipes
    • SPD Performance down-pipes with high-flow catalytic converter
    • Mishimoto Automotive transmission cooler
    • Reische Performance 170° thermostat
     
    Pre-existing:
    • aFe POWER Magnum FORCE Stage-2 “Super Raptor” air-intake system
    • Borla Exhaust ATAK exhaust system
    With the mechanical work wrapped up in the shop by John, Matt strapped her down to the rollers for a custom calibration by Vlad via COBB Tuning‘s Accessport V3.     With 600whp at your right foot, the utility aspect of a truck, and the notorious Whipple whine under the hood, August’s may have the perfect daily driver! Once the truck was pulled into the shop, John got to work preparing the 2019 Ford F-150 SSV to get it’s Gen-III Coyote 5.0L Whipple 3.0L equipped! Modifications below:

    With the mechanical work wrapped up in the shop by John, Matt strapped her down to the rollers to flash a tune from Whipple Superchargers via HP Tuners. With 93 octane in the tank and the Whipple 3.0L delivering ~11psi, the Coyote’s output was increased to a solid 619.22whp & 513.54lbft! Needless to say, August is now having much more fun on the daily commute.

    2019 Ford F-150 Raptor – Cooling Mods

    Coleman brought us his 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor to get it breathing better, cooled down, and dialed in by Vlad via COBB Tuning’s Accessport V3! Modifications performed below:
     
    • JLT Performance air-intake system
    • Garrett – Advancing Motion intercooler upgrade
    • COBB Tuning Accessport V3
     
    With the mechanical work wrapped up by Jonathan in the shop, John strapped her down to the rollers for Vlad to perform a custom calibration via COBB Tuning’s Accessport V3.     2019 Ford Raptors – Two Is Better Than One

    Cool view in the shop: two 2019 Ford F-150 Raptors in the shop at the same time and under the knife! Dustin’s Ruby Red Raptor in Andrew’s bay, and Dave’s Oxford White Raptor in Alex’s bay. Both came in for a variety of bolt-on modifications and rolled out with great results! See modifications below:
     
    Dustin’s Ruby Red Raptor:

  • 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor

    2018 Ford F-150 Raptor

    Dan brought his 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor in to get the turbochargers breathing a bit easier and get the intake air temperature under control! Up first, John set the 3.5L EcoBoost up with a COBB Tuning front-mount intercooler upgrade, a COBB Tuning intake system, and Stainless Works down-pipes & Y-pipe. Then with the mechanical work wrapped in the shop, Matt strapped her down to the rollers for Vlad to perform a custom calibration via COBB Tuning’s Accessport.

    The results came in strong at 443.71whp & 536.33lbft on 93 octane! Considering these trucks normally baseline around 340whp & 380lbft on our DynoJet 424xLC2 dynos, that’s a gain of over 100whp & 150lbft! Solid repeatable gains that Dan will notice every time he hits the throttle.

  • 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor

    2019 Ford F-150 Raptor

    Gary brought us his 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor to get the 3.5L EcoBoost breathing a bit easier and making more power! Up first, Andrew installed a Full-Race Motorsports cold-air intake system, aFe POWER BladeRunner GT Series intercooler system, Stainless Works down-pipes, all breathing through a Borla Performance complete exhaust system. From there, she hit the rollers to get dialed in by Vlad via HP Tuners.

    The results were absolutely fantastic, coming in at 443.97whp & 481.73lbft, a gain of 127.89whp & 148.22lbft over baseline! Needless to say, that’s a difference Gary will notice both while cruising around, and at wide-open throttle.

     

  • 2015 Ford F-150 5.0L – Whipple

    2015 Ford F-150 5.0L – Whipple

    Eric brought in his 2015 Ford F-150 to have it put under a little pressure! We set up the 5.0L Coyote with one of our go-to supercharger systems: a W175AX Gen-III 2.9L twin-screw system from Whipple Superchargers! While we were there, we also addressed this otherwise amazing engine’s Achilles Heel, and installed billet oil pump gears from Modular Motorsports Racing – MMR. Now that Louis has wrapped up the mechanical work, she’s hitting the rollers to get dialed in by Vlad via HP Tuners!
