With the mechanical work wrapped up by Andrew in the shop, Matt strapped her down to the rollers for Vlad to perform a custom Flex Fuel calibration via COBB Tuning’s Accessport V3. Since this car is shipping back out west, we calibrated for 91 octane rather than 93 octane. However, even on the 91 octane calibration, Vlad increased output to 374.66awhp & 471.28lbft, and then with E85 in the tank and the FB Blue delivering ~28psi, output increased to a strong 475.66awhp & 471.28lbft!

  • Crystal White Pearl 2019 Subaru WRX STI S209 – Reliability Mods

Crystal White Pearl 2019 Subaru WRX STI S209 – Reliability Mods

Our first S209 – one of the 209 USDM units produced – to come through the shop and hit the rollers!

Erik, the owner of this magnificent Crystal White Pearl 2019 Subaru WRX STI S209, is clearly a huge Subaru enthusiast, and is no stranger to modifying the platform. So, naturally, he had a few key modifications in mind for both improved performance and reliability.

After everyone was done snapping their personal pictures, John strapped her down to the rollers for baseline dyno pulls to establish our starting point, coming in at a strong 303.88awhp & 298.16lbft, with the HKS turbocharger delivering 18psi.

From there, we installed a Street Series air/oil separator from IAG Performance, along with a cylinder 4 chamber cooling system from Getadomtune, and from there, she went back to the rollers to get flashed with a Stage-1 OTS map via COBB Tuning’s V3 Accessport. The result? Output increased to 330.95awhp & 328.08lbft, a gain of 27.07awhp & 29.92lbft! Stay tuned for more to come from this gorgeous S209!

Starting with 93 octane in the tank and with the FP Blue delivering 18psi, Vlad increased the EJ257’s output to 390.01awhp & 367.67lbft.
