    2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road – Magnuson TVS1320 Supercharger

     
    Qaise’s 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road came to us as a solid street & trail rig, equipped with Icon Vehicle Dynamics suspension, rock sliders, 285/70R17 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W E-load tires, and other high-quality components. But it was missing one big thing: MORE POWER! And that’s exactly what our Stage-1 supercharger package brings to the underwhelming 4.0L 1GR-FE, featuring the Magnuson Superchargers Roller Rocker TVS1320 supercharger system.
     

    With the mechanical work wrapped up in the shop by Mike, John strapped her down to the rollers for post-work dyno pulls. With the Magnuson TVS1320 delivering ~6psi, output was increased to a nice square 306.15whp & 305.60lbft — a gain of 70whp & 45lbft at peak over the baseline of 236.92whp & 251.28lbft, with over 70lbft picked up in the mid range! That’ll definitely give Qaise’s 4Runner more usable performance for both the daily commute and the weekend trail runs.

    John brought us his 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 to get the supercharged LT4 exhaling a bit easier on the road course! Modifications performed by us below:

    CORSA Performance Xtreme exhaust system
    NGK Spark Plugs LTR7IX-11 spark plugs
    MSD Performance spark plug wires
    Design Engineering, Inc. spark plug wire Protect-A-Boot sleeves
    Design Engineering, Inc. heat shroud applied to oxygen sensor wires
    • All the miscellaneous OEM and aftermarket components to bring it all together

With 93 octane in the tank, Vlad increased the 6.4L Hemi’s output to 639.52whp & 533.48lbft!
