  • 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 – E85

Tim’s gorgeous Summit White 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is back in for the next step up in performance: Flex Fuel! Tim has done a wonderful job properly setting up his 5th Gen, with modifications including Roto-Fab, LLCintake system, American Racing 2.00″ primary diameter long-tube headers, Injector Dynamics ID1050X fuel injectors, DSX Tuning auxiliary fuel pump system & Flex Fuel conversion, and a Lingenfelter Performance Engineering9.17″ lower pulley with stock 2.95″ upper, netting a safe 18% over-drive/~21,750rpm at 7,000rpm. This round, we installed a solid supercharger isolator, and then Vlad brought it all together with a custom Flex Fuel calibration via HP Tuners!

First up, Vlad dialed in the 93 octane calibration, netting a healthy 626.35whp & 602.84lbft. After the tank was drained and refilled with E85, Vlad got to work on the Ethanol calibration, increasing the LSA’s output to a strong 682.63whp & 672.11lbft — an increase of 56.28whp & 69.27lbft at the same boost level, from the fuel & calibration alone! Solid results from this well executed 5th Gen!

  • 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe – Camshaft, Lifters, AFM Delete

2007 Chevrolet Tahoe – Camshaft, Lifters, AFM Delete

The Vortec 5300 engine: loved by all. Whether it be by the practical guy for its reliability & surprisingly good fuel economy, or by racers/Sloppy Mechanics for its junkyard price tag & ability to hold obscene amounts of power with a little boost. Nearly everyone can agree that these engines are fantastic.

However, in the case of the AFM (Active Fuel Management) variants — such as the LY5 found in Dante’s 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe pictured here — lifter failure is a near certainty at some point. While the practical guys may just want it fixed back to factory working order, the gearhead views lifter failure as an opportunity to improve, and pick up a little lope in the process… obviously, Dante is the latter.

Louis has this LY2 under the knife to bring it back to life and better than ever! This round, he’s installing a COMP Cams camshaft & supporting components, OEM GM LS7 lifters, Melling Performance Parts engine oil pump, C5R/C6R timing chain, and all the miscellaneous OEM GM bits-and-pieces necessary to delete the failure-prone AFM system. Once the mechanical work is wrapped, she’s hitting the rollers to get dialed in by Vlad via HP Tuners.

  • 2006 Chevrolet Corvette

Keith’s ProCharger F-1A equipped 2006 Chevrolet Corvette is in for some attention! While she’s pumping out plenty of horsepower, portions of the drivetrain weren’t exactly up for the task of managing the output. This round, we’re replacing the damaged torque tube, installing a carbon fiber driveshaft from Driveshaft Shop designed to delete the rubber guibo couplers, adding driveline support components from East Coast Supercharging, and adding 70A durometer polyurethane mounts to keep the drivetrain firmly mounted, while maintaining acceptable NVH levels.

  • 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 – Supercharged

    2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 – Supercharged

John always had the fastest car in the family, until another member of the pack came home one day with a GT500. Not to be outdone, John came to us to reclaim his crown as automotive head of the family. We were glad to help reinstate his title and installed:

    • Edelbrock E-Force supercharger system with upgraded fuel system.

With OEM fitment and quality combined with the ability to utilize the stock hood, the Edebrock E-Force supercharger system was the perfect match to keep John’s C6 a sleeper.

    Pre-Work (Stock Auto) – 364.31whp/361.41ftlb.

    Post-work (E-Force)      –  488.46whp/450.00ftlb.

    Total power gain             – +124.15whp/88.5ftlb.

    Lunati Gold Spring Kit
SLP Performance high pressure oil pump
    C5R timing chain

    Custom Camshaft (3-bolt conversion)

  • 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – Supercharged.

    Baseline wheel-horsepower and torque: 445.38whp and 412.41ftlbs
    Post-work wheel-horsepower and torque: 563.51whp and 525.43ftlbs

    Modifications Performed:

    – Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger System

Some won’t admit it, while others embrace it, but there’s one thing every C6 Corvette Z06 owner wants; matched or more power than the mighty C6 Corvette ZR1. Kenny, the owner of this 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, is the latter.

So, what’s the quickest, easiest and most efficient way to ZR1-killing power level, without breaking the bank on an LS9 engine swap, and without losing factory reliability? Enter; Edelbrock E-Force supercharger system.

As with all of the Edelbrock E-Force supercharger systems, the quality is absolutely outstanding. Every portion of the kit has the same feel, fit and function as a stock component. 427cid/7.0liter LS7 matched with a roots-style positive displacement supercharger should equal torque for days.

And, the best part about all of this power? It fits under the stock hood.

  • 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS

    2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS

Darryl came to us wanting a little more power and the ability to hear that LS3 breath, so we installed the following:

    • Stainless Works 3.00″ collector longtube headers with 2.50″ X-Pipe and High Flow Cats
    • Cold Air Inductions Intake System
    • NGK TR55 Spark Plugs
    • MSD 8.5mm spark plug wires with DEI boots
    • SLP Performance 160 degree thermostat
    • Custom Dyno Tune

Intake only:  The car made 382.38whp/372.50lbft

    Longtubes/Tune:  The car made a stout 416.56whp/403.06lbft.

That’s over 34whp peak whp and 40lbft of torque from Longtube headers and a tune alone, not to mention all of the gains in the mid-range.

  • 2011 Camaro SS – QTP Cutouts

2011 Camaro SS – QTP Cutouts

Matt came to us with the goal of making his car sound better and louder while still retaining stock driveability.

We utilized two 2.5″ QTP Electronic Cutouts and Vibrant flanges/gaskets.

Matts Camaro now has the ability to go from silent to beast with the flip of a switch!
