2008 Ford Mustang GT – Supercharged

Back in June, Jason brought us his 2008 Ford Mustang GT to get the 4.6L 3-valve set up with an E-Force supercharger system from Edelbrock Performance, clutch & flywheel setup from McLeod Clutches, custom fabricated electronic cutouts utilizing Vibrant Performance and Quick Time Performance components — and now, he’s back in to have the wick turned up!

This round, John set the S197 up with a set of long-tube headers fromStainless Works, pullied down the E-force one step, installed a Walbro255lph in-tank fuel pump (TU282HP-2 direct fitment), and then switching it up to HP Tuners MPVI2, Vlad was able to extract 482.07whp & 428.74lbft! A gain of 54.87whp & 30.11lbft from last round! Solid results from this 3-valve

    2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost

Sinong’s 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost is alive, and better than ever! After suffering an engine failure, Sinong decided to take the opportunity to lay groundwork for future power goals, and upgraded to a Modern Automotive Performance built short block. After Louis wrapped up the mechanical work in the shop, she hit the rollers to get dialed in by Vlad via COBB Tuning‘s Accessport.

Breathing through the factory turbocharger, and transmitting power through the factory automatic transmission, Vlad was still able to extract 295.85whp and 367.87lbft from the 2.3L EcoBoost! This package will be an absolute blast on the streets!

    2018 Ford Mustang GT – 3.0L Whipple

The 2018-2019 Ford Mustang GT: an entirely new breed of Mustang and performance car alike — stock-for-stock, it really is an incredible performance package right off the showroom floor. But let’s be real, who leaves an S550 stock? The alluring gains from just an intake & tune alone are hard to ignore… but the beautiful whine, and ridiculous gains from a twin-screw supercharger, are absolutely impossible to ignore.

And Barry — the owner of this drag-packed Shadow Black 2018 Ford Mustang GT — is one of those guys that couldn’t ignore the latter, and decided to go all-in! This round, Louis is setting this S550 up with a Gen-V 3.0L twin-screw from Whipple Superchargers with 10-rib conversion, Modular Motorsports Racing – MMR billet oil pump gears, Injector DynamicsID1050X fuel injectors, Fore Innovations, LLC dual-pump module with FC2 controller, Stainless Works long-tube headers, Driveshaft Shop aluminum driveshaft, BMR Suspension bushings, all brought together with a custom calibration by Vlad via HP Tuners!

    Stay tuned for results!

    Baseline wheel-horsepower and torque: 290-300whp and 300-310ftlbs
    Post-work wheel-horsepower and torque: 425.54whp and 390.42ftlbs

(please note; baseline runs were not performed for this job, and the numbers are estimated based on what these cars normally do with similar modifications that this car already had performed to it)

    Modifications Performed:

    -Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger System

A while back, Edelbrock began development on a different kind of supercharger system. What’s so different here? Well, if you’ve ever seen an Edelbrock forced induction kit for any vehicle, you know they carry a very OEM theory with their design, manufacturing and presentation. This kit installs like a stock unit, and has the same feel as a stock component, the quality is absolutely outstanding. I’ve been waiting for a customer to come along whose performance requirements match this system, and along came Ross. We’ve been working with Ross for the past year or so, doing bolt-on modifications and tuning for his prestine condition 2007 Ford Mustang GT. He expressed interest in getting some more power, nothing too much, just around 400-425whp, all while retaining his OEM drivability and clean theory that’s been executed thus far. Enter; Edelbrock E-Force. We reviewed it for some time, got everything lined up and got it rolling. I’m excited as can be for this one! This supercharger system will really come alive with his existing Kooks longtube headers and full exhaust system.
